www.ntv.co.ke Farmers in western Kenya have embraced a new farming method which involves the use of natural manure in a bid to boost food production …the farmers who are based in Ichina village in the county of Kakamega use conventional cultivation strategies and locally readily available supplies to prepare farm inputs such as fertilizers. And as NTV’s Ouko Okusah reports, apart from getting cost successful the manure is also said to be much more durable in the soils compared to synthetic fertilizers which are prone to leaching.
